Job Summary

Join the Corporate Banking Lending and Financing team within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group. Prepare credit assessments with relationship stakeholders, produce lending reports and presentations, and monitor/control portfolios to ensure compliance with agreed risk infrastructure. Write quality assessment notes covering structure, market, business, financial risks, and contingency, and update approving authorities on changes to the risk profile. Partner closely with the Policy Assessment business team to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare credit assessments jointly with the Relationship Manager and Lending Services Senior Manager, including lending specialist customer service presentations/reports.
•Monitor and control portfolios to ensure compliance with agreed risk infrastructure.
•Develop quality assessment notes highlighting key risks (structure, market, business, financial, and contingency) and incorporate mitigations, covenants, and terms/conditions.
•Highlight and update approving authorities on changes in the risk profile based on key risk indicators, addressing potential issues and non-compliance.
•Maintain a close working relationship with the Policy Assessment (PA) Business team to properly assess and satisfy customer needs.

Key Requirements

•At least 4 years of experience in business banking within a credit risk-related position, including financial statement analysis/forecasting, risk assessment/management, and credit facility structuring and pricing.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
•Problem-solving skills.
•Analytical skills.
•Excel, Word, and MS Office skills, with written and spoken English proficiency.
