Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily production floor inspections, lead safety audits and ergonomic initiatives, and ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA regulations.
  • •Maintain product quality by enforcing food safety and food quality plans and training employees on safe operating procedures, including lock-out/tag-out.
  • •Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances; coordinate with Operations Managers and Supervisors to improve workflows and equipment use to reduce downtime and costs.
  • •Direct and guide hourly production employees during shifts, lead monthly line meetings, and walk the production floor daily to keep teams aligned on daily objectives.
  • •Analyze product performance metrics and suggest continuous improvement actions to enhance production efficiency and maintain high quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent education/experience combination.
  • •Experience acting as a lead by training, coaching, or mentoring others, or by managing a process or project.
  • •Strong oral and written communication skills to lead problem-solving for complex process issues with solid analytical and math abilities.
  • •Ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to achieve peak performance while fostering a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment.
  • •Adaptable to fast-paced environments and varying conditions (heat and cold), with willingness to work long hours and weekends when needed.
