Key Responsibilities

  • •Support European expansion by partnering with growth and corporate development teams and building relationships with industry leaders across the UK and Continental Europe.
  • •Drive pre-contract strategy by defining scope, developing proposals, and generating terms during international pre-commit phases.
  • •Build and optimize European supply networks by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding suppliers while assessing technical capability, capacity, quality systems, and financial stability.
  • •Provide supply chain risk management across multi-tier suppliers and support localization initiatives aligned with national security supply chain requirements.
  • •Serve as a primary liaison across engineering, operations, and program teams; manage supplier performance, escalation protocols, corrective actions, and capacity planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • •15+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement focused on contract manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology industries.
  • •Proven success negotiating and managing complex manufacturing agreements with European suppliers and building long-term supplier relationships.
  • •Regulatory expertise in the European compliance landscape, including export controls, dual-use technology regulations, and related defense transfer rules.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~30–40%).
