Provide senior legal counsel for large-scale datacenter infrastructure and advanced critical projects, covering real estate acquisition and permitting through utilities, power generation, gas pipelines, water/wastewater, and communications. Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents such as land purchases, easements, PPAs, interconnection agreements, fuel supply contracts, and EPC agreements. Advise regulators across municipal, state, and federal levels and support spaceport infrastructure development as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide expert legal guidance for developing large-scale datacenter infrastructure and supporting utilities, including land development, datacenter construction, power generation, electrical transmission, gas pipelines and fuel supply, and water/wastewater treatment.
•Draft and negotiate land purchases, easements, rights-of-way, leases, PPAs, interconnection agreements, fuel supply contracts, pipeline capacity agreements, and other real estate and commercial transaction documents.
•Advise on zoning, building and construction permitting, environmental reviews, utility interconnections, gas pipeline safety, water rights, and air permitting for power generation facilities and related infrastructure.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to brief county, state, and federal regulators, including public utility commissions, environmental agencies, pipeline safety regulators, and permitting authorities.
•Negotiate complex construction contracts, EPC agreements, vendor and supply contracts for datacenter buildout, power generation facilities, utility infrastructure, fuel procurement and delivery, and spaceport development.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•JD or foreign equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
•Active licensed attorney.
•7+ years of legal experience.
•Must be admitted to the bar, in good standing, in at least one U.S. state.
•Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
