Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own multi-year quality architecture vision for core platform services, architecting systemic quality at scale.
  • •Design, build, and scale unified test automation frameworks across UI, API, microservices, and event-driven architectures, embedded into CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Lead performance, load, stress, chaos, and resilience testing strategies using APM/monitoring tools to support 99.99% availability.
  • •Integrate automated quality gates, ephemeral test environments, and observability into modern CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure and DevOps teams.
  • •Drive complex defect prevention and root cause analysis (RCA) across distributed microservice ecosystems, while mentoring lead/staff engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of progressive software engineering in test/QA automation, operating as a principal technical leader (IC4/IC5 level).
  • •Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise automation architectures for high-throughput, multi-tenant cloud platforms.
  • •Deep hands-on knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript and modern test framework ecosystems (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, RestAssured, Appium).
  • •Strong distributed systems and SaaS domain expertise, including event-driven systems, microservices, and cloud architectures.
  • •Experience with performance/resilience testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6, Locust; Chaos Mesh/Gremlin) and quality observability/monitoring.
