Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead PCBA process engineering for Starlink hardware and manage the manufacturing process for PCBA assemblies.
  • •Drive new product introduction by qualifying new equipment, designing line layouts and tooling, and providing DFM feedback with design engineers.
  • •Implement, simplify, and automate high-reliability manufacturing processes so production teams can operate independently.
  • •Optimize output, improve quality and cost of manufacturability by identifying trends and opportunities in production.
  • •Run volume production processes including manufacturing execution, nonconforming product management, configuration management, traceability tracking, yield improvement, and process control.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, materials science, manufacturing engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of professional experience in manufacturing process engineering, surface mount technology (SMT), accelerated testing, design for reliability, or PCB design and layout.
  • •Hands-on experience working in SMT/PCBA processes, including knowledge of IPC manufacturing standards.
  • •Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and manufacturing metrics such as CPK, yield, and OEE.
  • •Competency with SQL and Python.
