Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hydraulic design for water supply distribution systems, including pipe sizing, pressure analysis, network balancing, and reservoir/storage capacity calculations.
  • •Design wastewater collection systems, including gravity sewers, slope/gradient determination, invert level calculations, and manhole/chamber layouts.
  • •Develop Civil 3D models and drafting outputs: terrain surfaces, pressurised and gravity pipe network models, alignment/corridor modelling, and longitudinal/cross-section generation.
  • •Prepare construction-ready drawings and documentation, including general arrangement drawings, key plans, utility layouts, standard details, and design reports, calculation sheets, and SOQs.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet codes and project standards, manage document/drawing registers and revision control, and incorporate QA/QC review comments.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • •Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for modelling, drafting, surface creation, and pipe network design (pressure and gravity), including alignment and profile generation and BIM workflows.
  • •Working knowledge of water supply and wastewater system design principles (hydraulics, pipe network analysis) and awareness of basic treatment processes.
  • •Proficiency with ArcGIS and QGIS for spatial data analysis and utility mapping, including integration of survey/GIS datasets.
  • •Strong English communication skills and demonstrated ability to produce network layouts, longitudinal/cross-sections, detail drawings, calculation sheets, and design reports.
