Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure day-to-day operations and month-end close activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • •Partner with payroll and finance stakeholders to enhance financial service delivery and manage ad hoc business requests.
  • •Perform and oversee core accounting activities, including journal preparation/review, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting deliverables, as an SME.
  • •Ensure payroll accounting operations comply with data governance, quality control principles, and SOX compliance, following IFRS and company accounting policies.
  • •Lead continuous improvement, manage RCA findings and corrective actions, resolve critical process issues and escalations, and support internal/external audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent.
  • •Professional accounting qualification (CA) is mandatory.
  • •6+ years of professional experience, including at least 6 years in relevant accounting, financial reporting, or controllership.
  • •Strong hands-on accounting experience across month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and controls management.
  • •Strong working knowledge of SAP and BlackLine; advanced Microsoft Excel is required.
