Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Assist with establishing spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Work with installation and military branch points of contact, deliver virtual counseling when authorized, and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may substitute an associate degree plus 4 years' experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
  • •Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
