Provide second-line managed backup services to keep client IT infrastructure operational. Proactively monitor, investigate, and resolve incidents and tickets while staying within SLA. Perform daily backup routines, configure and manage Commvault backup environments, storage units, column pools, disk staging, and lifecycle policies. Diagnose alerts, troubleshoot issues, relate incident trends to problem management, and execute patch management with strong documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively review client requests/tickets and resolve them using technical/process knowledge while meeting SLA.
•Provide second-line support for backup-related incidents and requests across relevant technology domains.
•Perform daily backup routines, configure storage units, column pools, disk staging, and storage lifecycle policies, including schedules.
•Configure and monitor alerts; diagnose event alerts and execute patch management as required.
•Correlate incident trends into problem management and execute permanent fixes; document work and support other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in backup storage operations.
•Strong troubleshooting skills for medium-complexity incidents and requests.
•Manage configuration and implementation skills in the Commvault platform.
•Ability to configure, monitor alerts, diagnose events, and perform daily backup routines per policy.
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent IT/computing qualification) and relevant certifications for the services provided.
