Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the data center IT Module (“white space”) architecture, including integrating power distribution, cooling integration, rack infrastructure, and pod-level system design.
  • •Develop end-to-end reference architectures and ensure scalable, repeatable, and optimized designs that enable rapid deployment of compute capacity for data center segments.
  • •Capture and resolve VoC by co-designing with customers; translate customer business needs, requirements, and challenges into technical designs and roadmaps.
  • •Ensure effective handover so Global Product Lines and Business Units develop the right portfolio to meet large customer requirements.
  • •Provide oversight across advanced engineering engagements and support application engineers on implementing designs for specific customers to ensure customer success and Eaton’s performance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years in critical power system design and electrical distribution engineering; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent recognized qualification).
  • •Minimum 10 years of related data center experience across whitespace, cooling, power, fiber, controls, and rack systems.
  • •Demonstrated leadership delivering medium- and low-voltage power architectures for large, mission-critical data centers from concept through deployment.
  • •Expert technical knowledge in data center power conversion architectures (MV AC, LV AC, and high-voltage DC), including protective coordination, UPS/energy storage integration, and DC power protection schemes.
