Join the Compute Platform SRE team to help ensure the reliability of TikTok’s major data warehouse products, services, and query engines. Key Responsibilities

•Own reliability for TikTok’s major data warehouse products, services, and query engines (e.g., ClickHouse, Spark, Presto, Doris).
•Uphold SLAs by ensuring service level objectives are met and responding promptly to outages or issues.
•Continuously optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks, implementing proactive measures, and working with development teams to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
•Lead incident management by troubleshooting, resolving incidents, conducting postmortems, and coordinating cross-functional mitigation.
•Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management; support capacity and demand planning and integrate reliability considerations into the software lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
•In-depth understanding of Linux, computer networking, and databases, including SRE/DevOps toolsets, system monitoring tools, and Kubernetes.
•Experience or familiarity with open-source or commercial technologies such as ClickHouse, Hadoop, Doris, Spark, and Presto.
•Strong coding skills in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Shell, Java, Go).
