Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections (oil/filter changes, fuel filters, transmission services, and routine inspection).
  • •Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and conduct advanced diagnostics using scan tools and established troubleshooting procedures.
  • •Perform light to major mechanical repairs across systems such as brakes, steering/suspension, tires/wheels, starting/charging, electrical, OBD-II/drivability, emissions, HVAC, and engine/driveline components.
  • •Accurately document diagnostic results, repairs, parts replaced, and recommended repairs; maintain vehicle maintenance/repair history and perform quality checks before release.
  • •Coordinate with parts departments/vendors/management, handle shop tools and equipment, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and provide roadside assistance when required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of related vehicle service experience in lieu of education.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of vehicle service and repair experience.
  • •Working knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
  • •Ability to operate standard and automatic transmission vehicles and tools (hand tools, power tools, scan tools, diagnostic equipment).
  • •Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
