Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive quality metrics and improvement activities including yields, scrap rates, and component fallout.
  • •Lead line stop/purge and quality issue response; actively debug product failures to minimize scrap rate.
  • •Assess manufacturing personnel technical capability and provide hardware debug mentorship to test engineers and debug technicians.
  • •Improve manufacturing operations test processes and establish technical direction by evaluating new test technologies.
  • •Support DRT participation, manage return rate/RMA and customer complaints, and lead test yield improvements and factory readiness for new product launches.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, preferably high-mix low-volume PCBA and box build environments.
  • •BS or MS degree required.
  • •Strong leadership experience managing, recruiting, developing, and coaching employees.
  • •Expertise in ECO, BOM, and deviation/change order processes (Agile experience a plus).
  • •Strong knowledge of DFx (DFM, DFA, DFT, DFQ, and/or DFR) and manufacturing test/quality/reliability best practices, plus debugging and root cause analysis skills.
