Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish Developer Experience technical standards for repository health, including local build/test/lint expectations, deterministic environments, documentation requirements, and machine-readable conventions.
  • •Design and operate an automated repository audit, publish scorecards on a cadence, and drive remediation with repository owners.
  • •Lead remediation of pilot repositories by working in code, and create reference implementations for other teams to adopt.
  • •Own the specification and rollout of the agent-facing conventions layer, including templates, review process, and rollout plans.
  • •Integrate internal tooling with engineering platforms (source control, chat, issue tracking, feature management), including Model Context Protocol integrations where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant industry experience as a software engineer with hands-on technical contributions at senior or staff level.
  • •Deep expertise in software build systems, test infrastructure, and local development environments across multiple languages and frameworks.
  • •Practical experience with modern AI-assisted development workflows, including agentic development tools and integrations into professional software delivery.
  • •Strong written communication skills to produce technical standards, audit reports, and design documents for a broad engineering audience.
  • •Experience building and operating internal developer platforms that peer teams voluntarily adopted.
