Job Summary

Principal Embedded Systems Security Engineer supporting DoD programs in the Collins Product Cybersecurity Organization. Lead cybersecurity requirement decomposition, architecture, and verification for embedded systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams; drive System Verification & Validation, RMF-related documentation, and risk assessment activities; act as a SME on evolving threats and best practices in a high-security, on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Define cybersecurity requirement decomposition, allocation, implementation, and verification using systems engineering practices; provide guidance related to security technologies
•Define cybersecurity requirements, design, and architecture artifacts with program and engineering disciplines
•Lead system design discussions and provide cybersecurity engineering input
•Collaborate with systems engineers and developers to integrate cybersecurity into system design
•Advise in and/or lead cybersecurity focused System Verification and Validation including writing test plans and procedures and remediation recommendations

Salary: USD 107,500 - 204,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience
•Active, transferable SECRET U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date
•U.S. citizenship required for security clearances
•Experience in system requirement definition, allocation, and decomposition; preferably with embedded systems
•Experience with requirement management tools (DOORS, JIRA, CONFLUENCE) and MBSE tools (JAMA, CAMEO)
