Job Summary

Serve as a security architecture subject matter expert and trusted advisor, leading consultative engagements to assess current security architectures, identify gaps, compare target scenarios, and coordinate corrective implementations across teams. Deliver strategic security governance guidance aligned to client policies and roadmaps, support presales for complex security solutions, and mentor less experienced architects while helping develop standardized engagement templates. Hybrid role based in Diegem.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead or participate in client assessment engagements for security architecture and governance domains as lead consultant or team member.
•Evaluate current security architecture, identify weaknesses and improvement areas, compare architecture scenarios, and coordinate end-to-end implementation efforts with delivery teams.
•Ensure engagement handovers to internal stakeholders and help develop standardized consultative engagement templates for recurring client needs.
•Support presales by helping create complex security-focused solutions across service, application, and infrastructure components while maintaining global coherency.
•Act as a trusted advisor in long-term client relationships by mapping client business strategy to security frameworks and coordinating governance roadmap execution; mentor less experienced consultants/architects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor in ICT (Master strongly preferred) and relevant IT security certifications or proven knowledge (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
•At least 5 years’ experience in architecture and consulting functions.
•Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting large security deployments.
•In-depth knowledge of security offerings and security components (e.g., IAM, SASE, SSE, NAC, VPN, PAM) in hybrid/heterogeneous environments.
•Knowledge of security control frameworks and directives, including ISO2700x, NIST, CIS, and directives such as NIS2, DORA, and GDPR.
