Join Intel’s CPU Circuit Technology team as a CPU Memory Design Engineer. Design, develop, and build full-custom and compiler-based SRAMs, multi-ported memory blocks, ROMs, and caches for Intel CPUs and SOCs. Collaborate across domains to drive memory innovations, optimize power-performance-area, and deliver high-density, low-power embedded memory on advanced CMOS processes in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and build full-custom and compiler-based SRAMs, large signal arrays, ROMs, and caches for Intel CPU and SOCs
•Collaborate with domain experts across technology development to deliver high-quality memory technology collaterals
•Drive circuit innovations to enable next-generation high-performance, high-density, low-power embedded memory designs on advanced CMOS process technologies
•Perform memory circuit design activities including readiness, characterization, simulations, and periphery integration
•Define methodologies and execute project schedules to meet Power/Performance/Area constraints

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 164,470 - 269,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or STEM field with 6+ years of experience; or Master’s with 5+ years; or PhD with 2+ years
•Proficiency in CMOS circuit design, digital logic optimizations, and circuit trade-offs for power, performance, and area
•Expertise in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) circuits and design methodologies
•Experience in memory design and low-power implementation techniques (preferred)
•Familiarity with EBB design tools, flows, and signal integrity analysis
