Job Summary

Deliver advanced automotive repairs and diagnostic work while ensuring every vehicle meets CarMax Final Quality Standards. Perform brake diagnosis, steering/suspension work, 4-wheel alignments, electrical troubleshooting, and EFI repairs across multiple vehicle systems. Lead and mentor apprentice technicians, maintain EH&S compliance, and handle shop equipment upkeep and vehicle movement as directed. Provide exceptional customer service through integrity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform advanced automotive repairs including brake diagnosis, steering/suspension work, 4-wheel alignments, electrical troubleshooting, and EFI system repairs.
•Ensure vehicles meet CarMax Final Quality Standards.
•Conduct emission and safety inspections, provide heating and air conditioning service, and run engine performance diagnostics.
•Lead and mentor apprentice technicians to foster learning and technical excellence.
•Follow CarMax EH&S requirements, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and maintain/repair specialized shop equipment while safely transporting vehicles as directed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18 - 41.7 hourly
