Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform certified DOT inspections and scheduled preventative maintenance for trailers and equipment in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Respond to call-center dispatched unscheduled service and maintenance requests.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including reconciliation.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and perform repairs (including brakes, air lines, auxiliary pumps/engines, liftgates, brake chambers, welding, and panel/framework replacements).
  • •Complete DOT forms and repair order documentation by uploading pictures/findings using a company iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 5+ years of related experience (or alternate combinations of education/certifications and 3+ years experience).
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools for the job.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
  • •Obtain ASE 608/609 certification within 18 months.
  • •Hold a valid DOT medical card/complete DOT physical and be at least 21 years old; maintain required driver qualification and valid CDL-A.
