Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support regulatory compliance programs, processes, and initiatives to ensure adherence to federal and provincial pipeline regulations and minimize regulatory risk.
  • •Coordinate with regulatory agencies on inspections, audits, information requests, and compliance-related communications.
  • •Provide regulatory compliance guidance and subject matter expertise to operations, projects, business development initiatives, and special projects.
  • •Develop compliance awareness by creating training and awareness programs and supporting leadership and frontline employees in meeting regulatory obligations.
  • •Coordinate CAPA activities and support incident reporting, investigations, and emergency response efforts (including Incident Command System participation as needed), while preparing compliance reports and maintaining regulatory documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of related regulatory compliance, pipeline operations, or regulatory affairs experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of federal and provincial pipeline regulations and CSA Z662.
  • •Experience communicating and building effective relationships with regulators, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • •Proven ability to advise operational and business leaders on compliance matters and regulatory requirements.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office; auditing experience, management systems knowledge, or experience with Enablon/Encompass is considered an asset.
