Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake the project management role on mid- to large-size construction-phase projects, ensuring delivery within requirements, timescales, and budgets.
  • •Liaise with clients, manage day-to-day project work, and address contract underperformance and issues.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary design and construction of renewable energy infrastructure.
  • •Support procurement activities including preparation of Employer’s Requirements and technical contractual documentation.
  • •Manage construction-phase delivery by aligning contractors to contract requirements and best practice; support governance, reporting, invoicing, review deliverables, and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (Hons) in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical or Environmental) or a diploma in Project Management.
  • •Background in project and construction delivery with commercial awareness in the energy sector, including complexities of grid-connected projects.
  • •Experience leading management across design, procurement, and construction phases for renewable technologies such as onshore wind (ideally with recent onsite experience), solar PV, and/or hydroelectric (run of river and pumped storage).
  • •Experience preparing Employer’s Requirements and supporting procurement stages, including technical contractual documentation.
  • •Strong experience managing/administering NEC, FIDIC, and JCT (or bespoke) contracts, plus technology supply contracts.
