Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations, or monitor and manage patients in the low-dependency ward.
  • •Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals.
  • •Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care.
  • •Provide quality, patient-centred care in a low-dependency ward setting.
  • •Work shift and weekend rosters to deliver continuous coverage across the 24/7 ward.

Key Requirements

  • •Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • •Minimum one year of Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care, or a military setting.
  • •Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
  • •Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance).
  • •Ability to work a 24/7 roster.
