Head of Global Employee Relations

Lead ByteDance’s global Employee Relations function across 4 regional teams and ~45 jurisdictions. Own ER strategy, case management, union/works council engagement, non-compete compliance, and guidance for complex employment matters. Partner with HRBPs to drive executive-level decisions with discretion and risk control. Optimize ER operations via process improvements and AI, and ensure compliant implementation with employee representative bodies while translating regulatory and cultural requirements into practical playbooks.
