Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage daily operations of the FSQA department for the assigned shift, overseeing food safety, quality, and compliance.
  • •Direct production practices including receiving requirements, sanitation (preoperational and operational), and finished product quality.
  • •Ensure FSQA policy and procedure adherence and maintain records for government regulations and food safety programming.
  • •Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP/HARPC and SSOP programs and ensure finished products meet customer specifications and labeling requirements.
  • •Select, train, and manage FSQA Supervisors and FSQA Technicians, handle quality-related customer complaints, and report product issues and audit results to internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • •2+ years in food manufacturing; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • •Preferred HACCP/HARPC certifications and broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs.
  • •Standard computer skills; SAP, LIMS, and Safety Chain preferred.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage crewing, labor, and attendance.
