Job Summary

Oversee and manage the expediting team and act as the primary point of contact for expediting activities across desk and shop levels. Build and maintain expediting and inspection plans with purchase-order criticality, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and escalate delivery slippages. Lead source inspection and ITP/Witness/Hold readiness workflows, manage non-conformities, and ensure timely issuance of inspection release/shipping release and inspection data books for complex chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and manage the activities of the expediting team and serve as the main contact for expediting across desk and shop levels.
•Prepare comprehensive expediting plans, assign purchase orders to desk expeditors, and regularly review performance while managing order criticality and escalation.
•Coordinate source inspection planning and execution, including preparing/issuing Source Inspection Plan and Procedure and managing ITP review, Witness/Hold readiness, and inspector assignments.
•Monitor vendor inspections and inspection correspondence, ensure inspectable material is not shipped without inspection, and prevent or promptly address issues leading to rejection or non-conformity.
•Manage non-conformity workflows and interface between client and Wood for inspection matters, including issuing inspection release/shipping release notices and expediting completion of the inspection data book.

Key Requirements

•BSc/MSc in mechanical, chemical, or energy engineering.
•Certified Level 2 operator for non-destructive testing (PT, MT, UT, RT) per UNI EN ISO 9712 (or equivalent such as ASNT SNT-TC-1A).
•Welding Inspector qualification per EWF or CSWIP.
•Proven experience in the role.
•Fluent in English and Italian, with strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
