Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and approve electrical engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractors and engineering consultants, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, UAE regulations, and international codes.
  • •Provide technical guidance on electrical engineering matters and support multidisciplinary engineering reviews, resolving technical interface issues.
  • •Oversee electrical system design reviews across power generation/distribution, MV/LV/HV, substations/switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS/battery systems, and protection studies.
  • •Monitor EPC contractor engineering performance and compliance, reviewing technical queries, deviations/concessions, design changes, and evaluating contractor proposals.
  • •Support procurement and vendor package review, and provide technical support through construction, installation, testing, commissioning, handovers, quality audits, HSE/risk workshops, and engineering reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • •Minimum 15 years of oil & gas upstream/offshore project experience with organizations such as Kent, KBR, Worley, Petrofac, or Saipem.
  • •At least 3+ years’ experience in a similar position and at least 5+ years in a PMC role on ADNOC or similar Middle East projects.
  • •Strong experience in large-scale EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500M) and familiarity with ADNOC standards and work practices.
  • •Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
