Design, integrate, and test hardware prototypes for the JPALS program, supporting next-generation precision landing products. Work in a lab environment to assemble and troubleshoot electronic rack assemblies, cable and harness assemblies, and install/swapping units into test strings. Create electrical schematics and engineering documentation, conduct unit and system-level testing, and perform component research, fault isolation, prototype setup, and trade-study documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Integrate equipment and lab set-up for testing.
•Design and build prototypes using mechanical and electrical components.
•Install and swap units into systems or test strings, including antennas, radios, amplifiers, power supplies, servers, routers, and processors.
•Conduct unit and system level testing in the lab environment, including fault isolation and troubleshooting.
•Research components, assemble electronic rack assemblies and cable/harness assemblies, and create electrical schematic diagrams and engineering documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in STEM obtained prior to start.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

•Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscope, function generation, and digital multimeter.
•Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics, including unit/cable pin-out tables.
