Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead sourcing and release activities for interior and exterior parts with Global Supply Managers, Tier-1/2 suppliers, and Engineering; issue POs for prototype and production components.
  • •Partner with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify, qualify, and schedule supplier readiness to meet program timelines.
  • •Create RFQs, analyze supplier quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical factors.
  • •Negotiate contracts for parts procurement and engineering services; manage supplier development and parts availability timelines for prototypes and production start-up.
  • •Own supplier commercial relationships and serve as the primary internal contact for commercial issues, including ongoing updates on sourcing status, industrialization, and engineering changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for the degree).
  • •8+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering for automotive parts, including interior components and related SCCMs/OHCs.
  • •Deep knowledge of parts manufacturing processes and should-cost analysis/cost models across design, production launch, and engineering changes.
  • •Proven understanding of plastic injection, stamping, or other relevant manufacturing processes for interior/exterior parts.
  • •Strong grasp of quality principles, product development processes, data analysis, and structured problem-solving in cross-functional settings.
