Key Responsibilities

•Analyze IOCs and TTPs for threat actors impacting the LATAM threat landscape, including prevalent banking and remote access trojans.
•Craft, maintain, and document detection opportunities within the Threat Intelligence platform.
•Manage threat actor information, TTPs, and Opsec, and perform correlation and research to produce context-rich alerts for customers.
•Conduct ongoing research on current threats and industry trends to stay current in the LATAM threat landscape.
•Develop mitigation and countermeasure strategies and align observed threat activity to MITRE ATT&CK Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).

Key Requirements

•A passion for investigating cybercrime and actively combating its impact.
•Strong understanding of the LATAM threat landscape and major cyber threats including ransomware, initial access brokers, banking trojans, remote access trojans, and fraudsters.
•Experience analyzing cybercrime community activity and profiling threat actors.
•Deep understanding of the dark web ecosystem, including major platforms, traded goods/services, market dynamics, and underground communication methods.
•Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) and familiarity with network technologies, OS architecture, and common data transfer protocols.
