Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic direction and visible leadership for the Development discipline within the UK planning team
  • •Drive business development by embedding in local networks, building relationships with decision-makers, and growing the order book
  • •Lead and support bids, reviewing and authorising submissions to demonstrate value commercially and technically
  • •Act as Project Manager or Director for major projects and strategically important commissions
  • •Mentor colleagues and support succession planning while ensuring SHEQ compliance and health and safety practices

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level qualification in civil engineering; Chartered status or working towards chartership
  • •Broad project experience across civil design for developments
  • •Strong interpersonal, leadership and management abilities
  • •Commercial and strategic capability with a track record of identifying and delivering new business opportunities
  • •Ability to lead bids, review submissions, and contribute to major commissions
