Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform engineering assignments by proposing solutions to engineering-related problems.
  • •Recommend and implement timely solutions involving routine engineering, design, operation, maintenance of company assets, and market optimization.
  • •Collaborate with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems within time and budget constraints.
  • •Develop models and analyze data to recommend solutions or process/program improvements, and present findings to management and external parties.
  • •Provide field engineering assistance or technical support and keep up to date on current technology and market trends.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and at least 2 years of job-relevant experience.
  • •Experience supporting the design, construction, commissioning, operation, or maintenance of utility substations, battery energy storage, or renewable energy facilities.
  • •Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and compliance requirements, including UL, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, NERC, and utility interconnection requirements.
  • •Strong understanding of power system studies, including short circuit, load flow, reactive power, harmonics, transients, arc flash, and system modeling.
  • •Ability reviewing contractor deliverables such as drawings, calculations, technical submittals, and RFIs while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
