Key Responsibilities

  • •Support proposal development by creating deliverable lists, estimating engineering hours, and providing mechanical engineering input for write-ups.
  • •Lead mechanical engineering on medium to large projects, managing deliverables and coordinating with other disciplines.
  • •Perform and check engineering calculations, including equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, and pipe stress analysis.
  • •Support equipment procurement activities, including specifications/data sheets, quotations, technical bid tabulations, and vendor data review.
  • •Provide technical oversight, feedback, and mentorship to developing staff engineers; conduct occasional site visits as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related) plus 8 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • •Understanding of design for industrial process and energy projects.
  • •Experience in industrial and/or energy-related fields.
  • •Preferred: Master’s degree; familiarity with industry codes/standards (API, ASME, PIP, ANSI, ASTM, etc.) and engineering calculation software (Pipe-Flo, Applied Flow Technology Fathom, CAESAR II).
