Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and lead the Plant/Ground Support Equipment maintenance workload, resources, and activities for GSE workgroups across all GSE shop locations in the station.
  • •Administer and coordinate assigned work group activities in support of station GSE policies, goals, and objectives.
  • •Ensure continuing safety, compliance, dependability, and reliability of ground equipment maintenance operations.
  • •Maintain harmonious working relationships with union workforce and apply union contractual language to address work group matters.
  • •Prioritize inspections and maintenance programs, recommend revisions to improve mechanical performance and reliability, and ensure technical documents are followed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • •Automotive, GSE, or heavy equipment operations experience in production along with parts procurement as a supervisor or lead mechanic.
  • •1 year of experience supervising and/or directing workgroups, preferably in a union environment.
  • •Ground support equipment (GSE) mechanical experience.
  • •Ability to train, guide, and motivate employees.
