Job Summary

Lead and deliver high‑voltage transmission line projects (up to 765kV) within WSP’s Power Delivery team. Provide technical leadership in planning, design, and execution, manage project schedules, QA/QC, and cross‑discipline coordination. Mentor staff, engage clients, and drive proposals and resource planning. Flexible between hybrid/remote work with preferred bases in Austin or Houston, TX, supporting projects across the South‑Central region.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV
•Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to establish an efficient plan
•Create and maintain a project schedule
•Conduct weekly/bi-weekly project meetings with clearly identified responsibilities
•Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related discipline
•7 to 10 years of relevant post‑education experience in engineering and civil design
•Engineer license is required
•Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO‑95
•Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS‑CADD operation
