Job Summary

Join Visa’s Global Risk Investigations team within Case Investigations & Enforcement to lead external fraud compromise events and drive remediation plans. You’ll use payment intelligence, forensic analysis, and Visa tools (including CAMS) to identify and contain breaches, validate findings, publish alerts to financial institutions, and evolve investigative procedures and dashboards. This is a hybrid role supporting global ecosystem security through client guidance and industry outreach.

•Lead external compromise events by using payment intelligence and fraud solutions to identify and contain high-profile data breaches.
•Conduct fraud analysis and synthesize forensic insights (including compromise network topologies) to develop clear recommendations.
•Publish alerts and disseminate at-risk accounts to financial institutions using CAMS, and drive client remediation through early adoption of compromise detection capabilities.
•Operationalize investigative procedures to improve forensic investigations and reporting, including monitoring and refining dashboards for fraud schemes.
•Represent Visa via industry outreach and regulatory briefings, and help develop tools and capabilities for client communication and ecosystem value.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD.
•6+ years experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 4+ years with an advanced degree / up to 3 years with a PhD).
•8+ years as a payments, risk, or security professional with a financial institution, merchant, or payments company.
•Proven record investigating and resolving financial crimes or security incidents.
•Background in information security, forensic investigations, or data analytics; experience with payment security concepts such as EMV, tokenization, and encryption.
