Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in Dakar, managing inventory management, stock movements, inventory counts, and safety reporting. Supervise a logistics service provider, ensure warehouse processes follow Helios Towers Senegal procedures and SHEQ requirements, and coordinate shipment tracking and goods receipt against purchase/material request orders. Lead planning for space, resources, and equipment, run reconciliations against SAP records, and produce daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage daily warehouse operations and supervise the logistics service provider, ensuring compliance with Helios Towers Senegal procedures and SHEQ requirements.
•Lead warehouse team collaboration and provide regular, quality daily reports to support timely management decision-making.
•Ensure the end-to-end execution of core warehouse processes: receiving, dispatch, returns, quarantine assessment, asset disposal, buffer stock, refurbishment, and stock counts.
•Plan warehouse space, resources, and equipment; track shipments with the SCM team and partners; coordinate goods delivery handling using packing lists and purchase orders/material request orders.
•Run monthly stock counts and initial reconciliations, investigate variances between physical stock and SAP records, and manage inventory updates for disposal/refurbishment while reporting and escalating warehouse incidents/anomalies.
