Key Responsibilities

•Operate Multivac, Propac, and Cryovac packaging machines safely and efficiently.
•Use packaging SOPs to pull the correct materials for assigned packaging schedules and ensure products meet specifications/quality standards.
•Use SAP to transfer materials/WIP to and from storage and assigned locations, including making transaction corrections when necessary.
•Install/register film, sharpen slicer blades, set/adjust equipment to standardized speeds, troubleshoot/adjust issues, and maintain standard line performance.
•Handle downtime problem-solving, train new machine operators, and serve as safety captain and first point of contact for line production/equipment issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must have 12 months of continuous work experience with a single employer, including a minimum of 6 months of experience as a machine operator.
•Basic math and computer skills required.
•High school education with 2 to 3 years sanitation experience in a meat processing facility.
•Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
•Mechanical knowledge preferred; previous USDA food manufacturing environment experience preferred.
