Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new environmental-control/HVAC systems and perform diagnosis and repair in diverse commercial settings.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact to service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, including forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Stay current on Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions; support overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
  • •Technical school or formal training in HVAC/controls preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving) in the prior 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC (direct digital control) systems preferred; EPA preferred.
