Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement security architecture frameworks, controls, and practices aligned with enterprise architecture direction.
  • •Lead threat modeling, requirements gathering, planning, and the implementation of data and system security controls.
  • •Analyze gaps between current and target security architecture and develop roadmaps to close gaps.
  • •Supervise security-technology tasks to protect Rackspace and customer systems and data, and support security professionals across the lifecycle.
  • •Advise on certification-related vulnerabilities and define mitigating controls or remediation plans while collaborating with Security Operations on corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure and architecture, including the business impact of technologies.
  • •Advanced technical knowledge across IT industry technologies, operating systems, and product development processes.
  • •Advanced expertise in troubleshooting methodologies, design, and implementation.
  • •Expertise in designing security frameworks, standards, policies, controls, and strategies for private cloud environments, including threat modeling and security control implementation.
  • •CISSP certification (essential); ISSAP and CISM/GIAC or other vendor certifications (preferred).
