Key Responsibilities

  • •Weld components for heavy hydraulic attachments, following AWS D1.1 and production welding standards.
  • •Perform standard production welding tasks per LaBounty procedures, quality and safety policies.
  • •Layout, fit-up, measure, and tack weldments; complete arc air welding as needed.
  • •Follow production schedules by closing out shop orders to support timely part delivery.
  • •Maintain a safe, organized work area (5S), perform autonomous maintenance for daily equipment functionality, and handle materials safely with cranes/hoists/forklifts.

Key Requirements

  • •Perform GMAW/MIG wire feed welding to AWS D1.1 standards.
  • •Know basic weld symbols on blueprints and be able to layout, fit-up, measure, and tack weldments.
  • •Have good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with standard repair and hand tools.
  • •Use common measuring tools (tape measure, level, angle finder, squares) and operate welding equipment if assigned.
  • •Basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to follow written and oral procedures.
