Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive defect escape rates down and resolution velocity up by designing test scenarios across mobile, web, and backend systems.
  • •Investigate root causes so developers can fix issues, and participate in grooming by asking “what could go wrong here?” to identify risks early.
  • •Collaborate with the Automation team to expand test coverage, improve regression suites, and determine which tests to automate vs. keep manual.
  • •Own testing and verification for Scrum commitments, including regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing as needed.
  • •Leverage AI tools and agents to accelerate test scenario creation, analyze requirements for gaps, reduce repetitive manual work, and share learnings.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of hands-on QA experience with strong test design, bug lifecycle management, and root-cause analysis.
  • •Measurably improved a quality outcome on a real product or service (e.g., defects caught, time-to-resolution, coverage, automation impact).
  • •Used AI tools practically in QA or development work with a concrete example of applying AI to improve testing or productivity.
  • •Understanding of automation concepts and test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and Appium (automation coding not required).
  • •Experience testing mobile, web, and backend systems in a startup or complex product environment with shifting priorities.
