Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the daily operation of a regional TOC with continuous 24/7/365 coverage.
  • •Lead TOC supervisors, lead operators, operators, analysts, and support staff.
  • •Develop and maintain Annual Work Plans (AWPs) and monitor contractual KPIs.
  • •Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruiting, employee development, and performance evaluations.
  • •Coordinate special events and emergency operations, including weather events and incident response, and lead monthly operational reviews and corrective action plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Engineering, Emergency Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, OR 5+ years of progressively responsible transportation operations experience.
  • •5+ years supervising a 24/7 operations center.
  • •Experience managing transportation operations or traffic management centers, including leading supervisors and operations personnel.
  • •Traffic Incident Management experience and experience working with police, fire, EMS, DOT maintenance, and emergency management agencies.
  • •Experience preparing executive reports and operational metrics, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and performance management.
