Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist management in implementing, managing, and continuously improving EHS procedures, work practices, and safety culture.
  • •Ensure compliance with Kerry LIFE rules, Kerry EHS systems, local legislation, and external certifications; administer and maintain compliance.
  • •Facilitate internal and Kerry EHS audits, close out audit findings with corrective and preventative actions, and update EHS documentation in the integrated management system.
  • •Train employees and contractors on Kerry EHS system requirements, support incident prevention, and perform incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • •Monitor and measure EHS objectives, targets, environmental performance, and EHS statistics; support emergency preparedness drills and site risk assessments, including daily EHS presence on the manufacturing floor.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science or equivalent.
  • •At least 2 years' experience working in EHS, preferably in a Food Manufacturing plant.
  • •Completed ISPON Level 3.
  • •Completed NEBOSH IGC (advantageous).
  • •Working knowledge of OHS Act and National Environmental Management Act, plus experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and conducting internal audits.
