Job Summary

Shape the firm’s enterprise data strategy as a design authority within Information Architecture. Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data model governance across data mesh and medallion architectures, steward the enterprise data model library, and define canonical entities, lineage, and semantic standards. Design data product schemas on Snowflake and Databricks (Delta Lake), embed data contracts and quality frameworks, and support AI-assisted, agentic capabilities. Present decisions to stakeholders and mentor the community.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide design authority and governance across conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to data mesh and medallion architectures.
•Govern and maintain the enterprise data model library in SqlDBM, enforcing naming conventions, domain standards, and versioning while stewarding canonical entities and lineage.
•Design and maintain semantic models, including ontologies, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies to support AI-ready metadata and search.
•Design data product schemas across Snowflake and Databricks (including Delta Lake), define architectural guardrails, and embed data contract and data quality frameworks.
•Act as enterprise architecture design authority, present decisions to senior stakeholders and regulatory audiences, and mentor junior architects and engineers.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or information management, including enterprise data modelling at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Hands-on SqlDBM experience (or equivalent modern toolset) and proven dbt Labs experience.
•Good Python skills, including API integration and automation.
•Practical Snowflake and Databricks experience (including Cortex AI and Genie), plus working knowledge of OWL, RDF, and SPARQL or enterprise ontology design.
