Job Summary

Provide onsite field dispatch support for customer installations and service operations across a defined territory, handling racking/stacking, cable patching, and physical layer troubleshooting. Install, configure, and test networking and communications equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, IP phones) including low-voltage structured cabling and Wi‑Fi systems. Perform MAC requests, hardware break-fix, documentation, and emergency after-hours support while coordinating with Customer Operations and related teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage day-to-day service operations for installations, delivery, and deployment of technical resources within area of responsibility.
•Maintain a customer service-oriented environment by predicting, detecting, and resolving issues; oversee documentation of issues, action plans, and outcomes.
•Perform installation, service, preventive maintenance, and decommissioning of low-voltage and communications systems, including cabling infrastructure and power cabling.
•Physically install, configure, and test network assets in network closets/data center cabinets; perform device swaps and Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within service levels.
•Complete required documentation and respond to emergency situations during or after hours to meet client SLAs.

Key Requirements

•5 years of experience in data communications.
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle able to carry a 6-foot ladder.
•Proficiency using technical tools such as cable testers and fiber testers, with experience working in communications closets.
•Basic knowledge of local and wide area networking and the ability to troubleshoot and assist in resolving customer issues.
