Job Summary

Lead a solar installation crew to complete residential solar projects safely and efficiently. You’ll review inventory, lay out and assemble solar modules and mounting systems, apply weather sealing, and ensure a clean job site. Provide daily guidance and technical support to fellow installers, assist with solar battery installations when assigned, and participate in training. You may act as a foreperson during absences while maintaining crew and personal safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment, and tools in preparation for installation.
•Apply weather sealing and assemble racking, solar modules, panels, or support structures as specified in the project plan.
•Ensure a clean job site and perform project clean up, including the client site and installation vehicle.
•Lead crew through safe, efficient installations and provide leadership, technical expertise, and support to fellow crew members.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required; equivalent construction or military experience may be considered.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check; must be 21 years of age.
•Strong commitment to safety policies, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and encouraging others to work safely.
•Ability to lead and coordinate installers, meet deadlines/key metrics, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
