Job Summary

Own accounting as the company subject matter expert, partnering with the Controller and the finance team to drive month-end/year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement support. Conduct technical accounting research, maintain internal controls and audit readiness, and support tax filings. Help improve processes through automation, support system implementations and integrations, and assist with audits and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare month-end and year-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and support financial statement preparation.
•Perform technical accounting research and documentation to support accounting positions, policies, and significant/non-recurring transactions.
•Maintain internal controls, documentation, and compliance procedures to support audit readiness.
•Support Controller-led annual financial statement audits, including preparing materials for auditors and liaising with external consultants.
•Gather data for Federal, State, and local tax filings and support reporting and ad hoc analyses, including system implementation accounting support.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
•5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience with exposure to complex close cycles.
•CPA license.

•Advanced proficiency with Excel, NetSuite, and G-suite.
