Job Summary

Support global investment operations within Portfolio Services by providing recommendations for complex cross-region, cross-functional issues and helping resolve critical production problems. Liaise with key stakeholders across Investments, Compliance, service providers, and global business areas on cash-related concerns. Lead research, analysis, and implementation of new business requirements, while developing team plans, documentation, training, and a global support/oversight model. Independently review financial statements and operational risks, driving continuous improvement and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide support and input on solutions and recommendations for complex, cross-region and cross-functional business concerns.
•Assist in resolution of critical production issues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
•Support day-to-day operations and production support tasks when needed.
•Coordinate research, analysis, implementation, documentation, and training for new business requirements/projects globally.
•Develop and execute team plans, refine global support/oversight models, document and cross-train SOPs, and identify operational risks with mitigation recommendations.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of industry experience in an Investment Management firm.
•Excellent knowledge of investment products globally.
•Understanding of end-to-end investment services processes including trade entry, processing, settlement, valuation, cash management, corporate actions, and fund accounting.
•Experience with business applications such as Charles River and Aladdin is preferred.
•University degree in Finance or a business concentration (MBA is an asset); CFA or accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CA, CPA) is an asset.
