Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the day-to-day client interface to deliver value-added cost management across the project lifecycle.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders; produce and present final cost plans and cost estimate updates.
  • •Review and coordinate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates; reconcile contractor data and submissions.
  • •Manage cost checks and valuations, cost variances, change control processes, and cost/contingency management and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Prepare written submissions and monthly cost reports, support VE sessions and funding presentations, and help negotiate and agree final accounts; mentor talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management, value engineering).
